Ok guys we have been listening to your comments, negative and positive, and are trying to come up with solutions. Anytime this many people gather at a event , from all different places, and most are drinking, problems occur. Some of you are gonna be mad about these changes in the rules but overall it will be best for your saftey, and RWP. No one under 18 will be allowed to attend a RWP event without a parent or guardian. NO EXCEPTIONS... NO 2 WHEEL DRIVE RACING 4 WHEELERS, OR DIRT BIKES . WILL BE ALLOWED INSIDE. 99% OF THE INJURIES THAT HAVE OCCURRED IN RWP's 2 EVENTS HAVE BEEN AT NIGHT AND ON 4 WHEELERS. 50% OF THOSE HAVE BEEN MINORS AFTER MID NIGHT. 4 WHEEL DRIVE UTILITY 4 WHEELERS, UTV'S, RAZORS, RANGERS, WILL BE ALLOWED. 4 WHEELERS CAN BE RIDDEN FROM DAYLIGHT TO DARK, AFTER DARK IF WE CATCH YOU RIDING YOUR 4 WHEELER U WILL BE THROWN OUT OF RWP PROPETY, NO WARNINGS WILL BE GIVEN BY POLICE. THIS NO NIGHT RIDING RULE ONLY APPLIES TO 4 WHEELERS. We understand you guys dont wanna walk around and want to ride your 4 wheelers. But understand when 99% of our accidents occur at night on 4 wheelers, we have to do something. Most people also agree that all dirt bikes and 2 wheel drive 4 wheelers speed up and down the roads and through camp sites. This is why they are not allowed at a RWP event any longer. For those of you with dirt bikes and 2wd racing 4 wheelers we are sorry but we cant make everyone happy. No red and blue flashing lights and sirens will be allowed either. No one pays attention to emergency personnel vehicles when in route to a emergency because so many of you run around with lights and sirens all night. Sorry for those of you that do not like these rules but it will make things much safer and smoother for everyone. A date has not yet been set for the next RWP event and the number of pre sold tickets has not yet been determined but we will post this on FB and our web site as soon as we know.

Sounds like its just gonna be trucks next year. But even Mud Nats have changed some of there rules this year. I believe there is a no drinking and driving rule now. I'll just stick with Muddy Gras.

Is muddy gras as crazy as Mud Nats?

Never been to mud nats but from my understanding yes. Its preat calm during the day, (most everyone is hung over, LOL) nice trail rides and at night drinking, partys, longs line cruises around the campgrounds lots of nudity, and a concert or two.

It's all pretty standard I believe.

Alcohol + quads/toys/etc., + mud.... what's going to happen?

The first RWP was fun. I didn't go to the 2nd one but I heard it was out of control and not as much fun. Now they're making all these rules... rules and rednecks don't go together!

...It's down hill from here.

I think the new rules are to chase people out of the little community that it's in. There is only about a 1,000 or so people in Saint Jo. It is a cool town, reminds me of Krum when I was growing up. But when you send 20,000 people to play in the mud the town is overwhelmed by it's visitors. I can't believe that they are not allowing raptors or any sport type vehicle and by looking at the FB page they are excluding 4x4 utilities also. So you really going to mud bog a 2 wheel drive? Just doesn't make sense.
